While at San Diego State, Darian was a student-athlete for four years on the Division I rowing team. Full BioJose Flores has been working at different site settings in clinics and hospitals including orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and neurological physical therapy. He earned his doctorate of physical therapy from St. Augustine University in San Marcos, California. Jose found his passion for helping others achieve their goal when he was serving in the Marine Corp, it was in the Marines where Dr. Flores established a remedial training and rehabilitation program to help troops recovering from injuries and those that needed to improve their physical ability. It was after the Marine Corp that he went on to become a personal trainer and eventually decided to return to school to pursue a career in physical therapy. It was in his senior year in undergrad that he met one of his mentors that introduced him to neuro-physical therapy. Along the way, he met other great mentors that instructed him in neuro-dynamic training and orthopedic conditions including sports rehabilitation, acute care, and post operation rehabilitation. She also holds a certification in Personal Training and a specialization in Corrective Exercise through NASM. Kierra has spent eight years in the United States Navy serving her country and is now seeking to help improve patients' ability to maintain functional performance. Full BioBailey was born in Abington, Pennsylvania and was raised in Gilbert, Arizona for most of her life. Bailey moved to California to continue her college career at the University of Saint Katherine, where she also played indoor volleyball as a Firebird. During her time at USK, she completed a BS in Kinesiology and is currently in their Grad program to achieve a MS in Kinesiology. Bailey has been with ProActive PT as an Exercise Specialist since 2021. Once the Patient Care Coordinator position was available, Bailey was happy to continue to be able to be apart of the ProActive family. Full BioTim was born in Colorado but grew up in Chehalis, Washington. He attended Western Washington University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. His interest in the field is thanks to a very active lifestyle growing up, including lots of running, hiking, snowboarding, and camping. Tim moved to San Diego in 2020 and has been with ProActive since 2021 where he started as an Exercise Specialist and took over the Patient Care Coordinator position at the end of 2022. He loves working in Physical Therapy and being a part of a patient's rehabilitation process and helping in their journey of getting back to the sport, hobby, and lifestyle they love. His goal is to go back to school to become either a PT or a PA. Outside of work, Tim loves to play Ultimate Frisbee and Tennis, try out new food spots in San Diego, and beat his friends in Mario Kart. He is also a huge sports fan and likely cheering on the Golden State Warriors, Seattle Seahawks, or Colorado Rockies at any given time...
Full BioKhoa was born and raised in Vietnam before relocating to San Diego at the age of 16. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Pre-Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. Khoa is a licensed Physical Therapist, having completed his degree at California State University, Sacramento. His final clinical rotation took place at ProActive National City Physical Therapy Clinic, where he treated patients with a variety of conditions, including neck pain, low back pain, and shoulder pain. Khoa has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, successfully treating diverse patient populations, including geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiovascular cases. In addition to his clinical work, Khoa has a background in competitive badminton from his time at Crawford High School and has participated in powerlifting competitions twice during his physical therapy education. His primary goal is to help patients optimize their movements and enhance their overall quality of life...
