Glen Beato was born and raised in San Diego. He attended CSULB and obtained his degree in Kinesiotherapy. He went on to Mount St Mary’s where he completed his post graduate studies in Physical Therapy. He enjoys working at Proactive Physical Therapy because of the people within the organization and the ability to be involved in the community that he lives and grew up in. He enjoys helping people through exercise and education. He finds it rewarding to be able to empower people through education. He also finds it rewarding to help people focus on what they can do rather than on what they have been told they cannot do. He specializes in orthopedics and holds the following certifications: Orthopedic Certified Specialist, Certified Spinal Manipulation Therapy, Certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA),Certified Functional Movement Screen and Y Balance Test, Certified Fundamental Capacity Screen, Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Certified Conditioning Coach, Certified Sport Nutrition Coach , Certified Speed & Agility Coach, Certified Clinical Instructor ,Certified Blood Flow Restriction. In his spare time he trains athletes, loves to travel, scuba dive, hike, and spend time with his wife and two daughters.
