Lisette - Physical Therapist

Lisette Salazar moved to San Diego to attend physical therapy school at the University of St. Agustine after graduating from California State University of Fresno. She tore her ACL playing soccer in high school and was introduced to physical therapy, where she fell in love with the profession. While in college, she also worked as a physical therapy aide "exercise specialist" for Proactive PT from 2015-2018 which helped solidify her desire to become a clinician. She spent 3 years working in outpatient orthopedics prior to re-joining the ProActive PT team as a licensed clinician. She enjoys helping her patients get back to participating in activities/ sports that they love, especially overhead athletes such as baseball pitchers. In her spare time, Lisette is a Lab Instructor at the University of St. Augustine and enjoys being active and participating in fitness classes, traveling, finding great places to dine, watching sports and spending time with her family and friends.
