Conditions such as low back pain, chronic headaches, shoulder , hip and knee pain have become more prevalent in our growing society. Low back pain is a common and costly complaint with the point prevalence ranging from
12% to 33%, the 1year prevalence from 22% to 65% and the lifetime prevalence from 11 % to 84%. [1] That means that MOST of us will have back pain at some point in our lifetime. If you have been experiencing body pain for more than 2 weeks you are appropriate for a visit to your Physician in order to determine the need for physical therapy. Licensed Physical Therapists meet the demands of those with joint, muscle, tendon, ligament, nerve pain and much more Don’t wait any longer, you deserve to be living pain free and feeling great everyday!
We are highly trained and educated professionals that will assess your movement dysfunctions and evaluate your individual need for specific interventions that may include stretching, strengthening, balance training and or modalities. These include restoring normal joint motion, alleviating tissue (muscle, ligament, tendon and nerve) restrictions, re-educating muscles and regulating your neurological system. In turn, everything put together will enhance skeletal healing, optimize muscle performance and aid in regulating the inflammatory response. We are the experts in evaluating your functional or “dysfunctional” movement and then teaching you how to manage, maintain and take care of the root of the problem in order to alleviate your pain long term.
